The 195 ft. by 90 ft. structure will provide shade and cover on Naval Support Activity Bahrain. NMCB-11 is a Seabee battalion specializing in contingency construction, disaster response, and humanitarian assistance. The Battalion is home-ported in Gulfport, Miss. NMCB-11’s Det. Bahrain is a Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.2 unit whose mission includes conducting general engineering, disaster relief, exercise related construction, and theater security cooperation engineering support operations across U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
